Cookies are small amount of data that the website visited sends to the user’s terminal (desktop, tablet, smartphone, notebook), whereby they are stored to be then transferred back to the same websites the next time the user browses them. Cookies are used to perform computer-based authentication, session tracking and storage of information (without the use of “technical” cookies it would be complex or even impossible to perform certain operations). While browsing a website, the user may also receive on his terminal cookies sent by different websites or web servers ("third parties"), that may contain some elements (such as, for example, images, maps, sounds or specific links to pages of others domains) that are present on the website that the user is visiting.

Cookies used by this website can be divided into the following categories:

  1. Technical cookies

Technical cookies allow the user an easier experience on site and make it easier to retrieve information, simplifying the connection and transmission of data between the user and the site. In particular we use browsing or session cookies, which ensure the normal browsing and use of the website, allowing, for example, the calculation of an estimate or authentication for access to the reserved areas).  We inform you that you can allow, limit or block cookies at any time by changing the settings of your internet browser. However if you set your device to refuse cookies, some services of the website may not display correctly or they may not work properly. In particular, some procedures such as the user’s identification and its maintenance during the session may become more complex to perform and less safe when the use of technical cookies is not allowed.

  1. Analytics cookies

We use analytics cookies managed by third parties (e.g Google Analytics) to collect information regarding our website’s use. These cookies, similar to technical cookies, are processed in aggregate and anonymous form to monitor the areas of the site that are most often used, to improve the website’s contents and to monitor the proper functioning of the website. They also allow to carry out anonymous “cross-device“ analysis in order to offer a consistent user experience on the website across different devices. Analytics cookies also allow to perform analysis that facilitate the use of the website by the user, even in an user experience perspective (e.g Hotjar). These are persistent cookies, as they remain active until the user removes them or until their expiry date. We inform you that you can allow, limit or block cookies at any time by changing the settings of your browser.

  1. Profiling cookies

We use third-party remarketing tools that enable our partners to use cookies on our website in order to show the user targeted promotional messages about our goods and services that are consistent with his navigation (e.g Facebook AdsAdformCriteo) while surfing on other websites. Moreover our website uses additional profiling and analytics cookies that are managed in anonymous form by third parties with the aim to propose marketing communications tailored to the preferences shown by the user while browsing the Internet, which are related to the sponsored ads proposed by search engines (e.g Google AdwordsYahoo/Microsoft Bing) and e-mails use (e.g Payclick). These are persistent cookies, as they remain active till their expiry date (this date changes according to the type of the cookie) or till their removal by the user. We remind you that the user’s consent is given through the access to whatever element located under the banner that shows up during your first visit to the website. This preference is tracked by a technical cookie. We inform you that you can allow, limit or block cookies at any time by changing the settings of your browser or via the consent forms made available by third parties. We also inform you that you can learn more about third parties’ cookies and allow, limit or block them at any time by consulting the privacy policy and the consent forms made available by third parties.
